My Story

Driven by a passion to help womxn, Intuitive Wholistics was born.

I have been helping people with their bodily woes since I became licensed and opened my first solo massage practice in 2013. I called my practice The Wellness Room. It was fitting at the time as I was renting just a room in a building filled with countless other professionals: counselors, CPAs, retirement specialists, herbalists and LMTs among others. However, when you set foot in my room, it was like setting foot somewhere else entirely. I spent lots of time cultivating that space and turning “just a room” into a beautiful space. What I didn't realize was that I wasn't just decorating a space, I was cultivating an idea, my passion, my drive.

I opened that practice with only a handful of clients and just a knowing that it was exactly what I was supposed to do. Since then I have helped hundreds of people. Not just through bodywork but also through energy work, teaching meditation techniques, sharing body knowledge to empower healthy changes, and helping people stay accountable for their wellbeing!

This is who I am!

This is not just a profession.

The Wellness Room was a stepping stone. I wanted more!

I dreamed of one day having a free standing sacred space in the woods for my practice. A peaceful sanctuary for Wellness! Not ever knowing how to actually make this happen, it just remained a daydream for me, a happy visualization to come to from time to time.

Until my wife and I started looking for a house to buy. We found the perfect house for us and there happened to be a freestanding building in a backyard that felt like it was outside of the city. I was sold. We bought the house and renovated the building in just enough time for the world to experience a pandemic.

During the pandemic I realized I was doing more and more energy work for people and the people who seemed to need it the most were womxn. Womxn would come in low on energy and vibrance and during the session all sorts of things would come up for them: thoughts, sensations, memories  and emotions. I felt more connected to my work than ever before as I held space for them in these moments while they connected the dots. I felt passionate about supporting them and wanted to teach them more ways to support themselves in these strange times. Womxn have a bigger capacity for holding emotional space for others and it shows right now more than anything. Womxn are helping their families and friends cope with the aftermath of this pandemic and in turn, slowly absorbing all of that emotional hurt around them.

We are energetic beings!

When we do for others it is a beautiful thing but sometimes it comes at a cost. As energetic beings, if we give and give and give and put our own needs aside, our cup ends up empty before we ever even realize what happened. When we are depleted in this way there is an energetic imbalance that leaves our human systems vulnerable and makes us ripe for dis-ease. This is where the shift occurred! Womxn need support!

After more than eight years as The Wellness Room, I felt called to a change. A change that allows me to focus on helping womxn heal themselves.

Welcome to Intuitive Wholistics!

A place dedicated to helping womxn heal through bodywork, energy work, sound healing and self care practices.

My Approach

I have been told by countless clients after their first session things like "I have never had a massage like that before!"

I attribute this to working in a solo practice and learning to listen with my hands.

The body communicates! Sometimes in very loud ways, like when you have a headache or when you have pain presenting. However, the body also communicates in very subtle ways and this is what I find most fascinating! The years of giving massage have strengthened my ability to connect to the body. There is a magnetism, like my hands are drawn to dysfunction, drawn to areas that feel "stuck," or immobile, drawn to energetic blocks.

Bodywork oftentimes feels like a meditation to me, one of an intuitive focus, a listening. I'm listening to the whispers of the body.
